Who Can Apply to MASA Leadearth
| What is MASA Leadearth? What do I gain from this? What's Leadership? What's Sustainability? Who can apply? When and how long is it? What will I do there? Why India Where will we live? Who will be my friends there? How much does it cost? Can I talk to alumnies? How do I apply? I have more questions | We are looking for college graduates (or students), and/or people with experience in communal or environmental volunteer projects. People who wish to gain experience and establish their own path in the social and environmental field are also welcomed to apply. I am not Jewish. Can I apply? Yes you can. Even though non-Jewish participants will not be able to get grants from MASA organization, we welcome everyone who wants to join our fascinating journey. Is the program connected to any Jewish affiliation? As a non-affiliated organization, we respect all streams of Judaism. You will be free to practice Judaism on your own level and we ask all participants to respect one another and maintain an open mind. The appropriate conditions will be provided for participants who observe the laws of Kashrus and practice religious Judaism on a daily basis, including in-suite kitchenettes, free weekends etc. Do I need to know Hebrew to apply? Knowledge of Hebrew or Tamil is not a prerequisite. You will learn some basic spoken Hebrew during the program. All classes in Israel and most of the communication in India are in English. In addition, you will have the chance to take Tamil classes and learn other languages as well. I am over 25. Can I apply to this program? Yes you can. We are looking for people until the age of 32.
